Creating an inclusive environment

As our workforce grows, our executive

commitment focuses on ways of developing
and advancing all our people and promoting
an inclusive culture of confident individuals
who work seamlessly in global teams. From our
executives who serve as Human Capital and
Diversity geographic leads to Accenture Diversity
Council, which includes members of our Global
Management Committee to our Diversity Advisory
Forum, which is a group of senior executives
representing our global locations, executive
commitment starts at the top. We assess our
progress at every level of the organization.
Our clients are diverse and so is Accenture.
We build and maintain a global workforce that
includes people from different backgrounds, with
a vast range of skills and experienceall united
by a common culture and commitment to help
our clients achieve high performance.

We are committed to providing an inclusive

environment where they can all develop
professionally and build a rewarding career.
This commitment is evident through a range
of programs, such as diversity and leadership
training, mentoring and coaching programs,
womens initiatives, and employee resource
groups, which connect colleagues with common
background, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation,
or other personal interests.
As a result, Accenture maintains an inclusive
environment that is rich in diversity,
acknowledges each individual's uniqueness and
promotes respect, personal achievement and
stewardship.

For me, taking an active role in local affinity

groups, talking on leadership within my
deployed to entity and recruiting have been
instrumental in my ability to heighten the
awareness of others about diversity. This has
enabled me to be a part of the solution and
serve as a mouthpiece for others in this area.

with the partnerships we
have formed are critical to
our success. We recognize
that everyone brings distinct
experience, talents and culture
to their work. As result, we
are able to capitalize on the
diversity, collaborating with
each other through the work we
deliver to our clients.

internships and scholarships,
enriching their entire college
experience.

Through these synergies, we
are able to recruit, retain and

you need to know what is important to
you. I knew that Accenture could offer me
challenging work as well as other benefits. But
the three things that make Accenture a great
company are the company culture, the people
and how Accenture truly stands by its core
values.

Giving and getting 100 percent

Assembling a variety of ideas,

voices and qualities at every
level in our organization is
intrinsic to Accentures success
and, more important, to our
ability to help our clients
achieve high performance.
Dedicated national interest
groups have been essential
to bringing change and new
policies that are beneficial to all
employees. Sexual and gender
identity issues were brought to
the forefront and ensured that
diversity and inclusion remain
priority at our company and
beyond.

Our commitment is backed by

the Accenture LGBT Network, a
team of professionals dedicated
to creating an environment
where LGBT employees feel
welcomed and valued, while
providing a forum to raise
important issues. Accenture is
also proud to support LGBTfocused initiatives and has
received a perfect score on the
2011 Human Rights Campaigns
Corporate Equality Index as a
business leader staying at the
forefront of workplace equality.

At Accenture, inclusiveness
is at the core of everything
we do, and we continue to
make progress toward more
inclusive policies and offerings.
For instance, Accenture was
a leader in adding sexual
orientation, gender identity
and expression information to
its non-discrimination policy.
We also took action to add
domestic partner benefits for
all employees and signed on as
a sponsor of the all-inclusive
Employment Non-Discrimination
Act (ENDA).

excluded or out of place at Accenture. I work
