    "New Futures Initiative"
    Attend and learn how Center for Independent Futures (CIF)brings family groups and community partners together
    to develop sustainable, alternative housing models. With CIF support, the family group will come together,
    develop a vision, research the options, form a community partnership, and develop and implementation plan.

    Building Bridges for a Life Like Any Other


    Carried in Frankfort, and two other location, Community Connectors and Bridge Builder Project provides
    intentional support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD) to access
    mainstream community activities (municipal, civic, social, spiritual, cultural, etc) that align with the
    individual's interests and desires. By matching an individual with disabilities with a volunteer Bridge Builder
    from the community with a similar interest, access to community opportunities.
