Overview
hMailServer is a free e-mail server for Microsoft Windows. It supports the common email protocols (IMAP, SMTP and POP3) and can easily be integrated with many
existing web mail systems. This document will outline how to set up hMailServer to
work with LabTech and Gmail.

4. Select Enable POP for all mail or Enable POP for mail that arrives from now
on.
5. Select an option from the drop-down of what you want Gmail to do with the
messages after your POP client or device has received them.
6. Configure your email client and click Save Changes.
Supported Gmail POP client list
Once you've enabled POP1 in Gmail, you can configure your mail client or wireless
device to download Gmail messages. To see Gmails recommended settings or to
troubleshoot POP issues, click the name of your mail client or wireless device below.
If your mail client isn't listed here, we're unfortunately not yet able to help with its
configuration.
The following links are from Google. If at any time, these links do not work, you can
access their supported POP client list or perform a search for supported POP
client list to find the information.

Downloading hMailServer
hMailServer is a free e-mail server for Microsoft Windows. It supports the common email protocols (IMAP, SMTP and POP3) and can easily be integrated with many
existing web mail systems.
1. Go to the hMailServer site and click on the Download link.
2. Install hMailServer using the hMailServer Installation Guide on the server or
workstation you plan to use for the mail server (be sure it meets the hardware
requirements).
Configuring hMailServer
1. Open the hMailServer Administrator (Start > All Programs > hMailServer
Administrator).

2. Select the host and click Connect. You will be prompted for the password you
created during installation.
3. Enter the password and click OK.

5. Click Add.

6. Enter gmail.com in the Domain field and select the Enabled field.
7. Click Save. The domain will be added to the navigation tree.

16. Enter a Name for the external account. This can be anything.
17. Select the Enabled checkbox.
18. Type will default to POP3. Leave as is.
19. Enter pop.gmail.com in the Server Address field.
20. Enter 995 in the TCP/IP port.
21. Enter the User Name and Password for the Gmail account.
22. Enter the desired interval in the Minutes between download field. This is how
often the hMailServer should download messages from the Gmail account.
23. Click OK.
24. From the navigation tree, expand Settings > Protocols > SMTP.
25. Click on the Delivery of e-mail tab.

26. Enter the user name in the Local host name field.
27. Enter smtp.gmail.com in the Remote host name field.
28. Enter 465 in the Remote TCP/IP port field.
29. Select the Server requires authentication checkbox.
30. Enter the Gmail account User name.
31. Enter the associated Password.
32. Select the Use SSL checkbox.
33. Click Save.
34. From the navigation tree, expand Settings > Protocols > SMTP and then click
on Routes.
35. Click Add.

1. From the LabTech Control Center, select Dashboard > Config > System.
