2 When John heard in prison what the Messiah was doing, he sent word by his disciples

7 As they went away, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: What did you go out
into the wilderness to look at? A reed shaken by the wind?

The Birth of Jesus the Messiah
18 Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah[a] took place in this way. When his mother Mary had
been engaged to Joseph, but before they lived together, she was found to be with child from the
Holy Spirit.
