In support to RA 10157 known as Kindergarten Education Act

and to provide appropriate and relevant Supplementary Learning
Materials (SLMs) and experiences to kindergarten pupils and as the
output of the Regional Memorandum No. 104, s. 2016 entitled
Regional Training Workshop on LRMDS Preparation, Assessment and
Evaluation, Development and Production, and Uploading Process of
Learning Resources, this Division shall conduct a Three-day Writeshop
on the Development of Kindergarten Supplementary Learning
Materials on December 2, 8 & 9, 2016 at Meycauayan West Central
School.
Through the activity the participants are expected to:
a. produce contextualized supplementary learning materials for
kindergarten;
b. create developmentally appropriate play-based supplementary
learning materials;
c. quality assure contextualized and localized SLMs;
d. promote the production of quality contextualized learning materials.

Participants to the writeshop are the following:

Elementary School LRMDS Coordinators.25
Kindergarten Teachers (1 per school). 25

4. Each participant shall bring their own materials for the writeshop
related to the production of their own Supplementary Learning
Materials (SLMs).
5. Expenses relative to this training shall be charged against Division
INSET Funds subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and
regulations.
6. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
