Character Tragedy of the Rebellious Female

Abstract : Fan Yi is a rebellious female image who has t he distinctive style and t he complicated
implication in t he play Thunderstorm. The distinctive style lies in t he unique t hunderstorm charac2
ter. The complicated implication lies in t he set up of human nat ure ,where rational and nonrational fac2
tors , and creative and dest ructive powers in individual life are bot h compatible and rest rictive. Such
manifest s t he dept h of human nat ure.
