increases by 2, and two other ability scores o f your
choice increase by 1.
Age. Half-elves mature at the same rate humans
do and reach adulthood around the age o f 20. They
live much longer than humans, however, often
exceeding 180 years.
Alignment. Half-elves share the chaotic bent o f their
elven heritage. They value both personal freedom and creative
expression, demonstrating neither love
o f leaders nor desire for followers. They chafe at
rules, resent others demands, and sometimes prove
unreliable, or at least unpredictable.
Size. Half-elves are about the same size as humans,
ranging from 5 to 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision. Thanks to your elf blood, you have
superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can
see in dim light within 60 feet o f you as if it w ere bright
light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You cant
discern color in darkness, only shades o f gray.
Fey Ancestry. You have advantage on saving throws
against being charmed, and magic cant put you to sleep.
Skill Versatility. You gain proficiency in two skills
o f your choice.
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common,
Elvish, and one extra language of your choice.

Your patron gives you a grimoire called a Book of
Shadows. When you gain this feature, choose three
cantrips from any classs spell list. While the book is on
your person, you can cast those cantrips at will. They
dont count against your number of cantrips known.
If you lose your Book o f Shadows, you can perform
a 1-hour ceremony to receive a replacement from your
patron. This ceremony can be performed during a short
or long rest, and it destroys the previous book. The book
turns to ash when you die.

Trast seemed surrounded by death.


When he was but a small child his
house caught fire. His cat woke him
with scratches and he made it to
safety as the house fell with his
parents still inside. He lived in an
orphanage for a few years after that
until it was quarantined for a plague
outbreak. After this issue arose he
and his now slower cat apprenticed
under a mortician where he
performed regular cleanings and
helped console families. That is
when he noticed the faint feeling of
being watched. Nightly he feels as
though he sees shadows. after
weeks of feeling insanity creep up
on him Trast hears the strangest
sound, it sounds like a faint whisper.
As he cautiously moves about his
home he realizes the whisper is
coming from his cat. And Trast
hears the name Azalin and it sounds
like they are speaking about Trast
and the trials he has been through.
Fed up with being talked about Trast
bursts in and demands answers. In
his head he hears "My power can be
your power. Death is meaningless
when you can have eternal life".

Among the Dead


Starting at 1st level, you learn the spare the dying cantrip, which counts as a warlock cantrip for
you. You also have advantage on saving throws against any disease.
Additionally, undead have difficulty harming you. If an undead targets you directly with an attack
or a harmful spell, that creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC
(an undead neednt make the save when it includes you in an area effect, such as the explosion
of fireball). On a failed save, the creature must choose a new target or forfeit targeting someone
instead of you, potentially wasting the attack or spell. On a successful save, the creature is
immune to this effect for 24 hours. An undead is also immune to this effect for 24 hours if you
target it with an attack or a harmful spell
