balancing dynamics, blending
timbres, and using well-developed
ensemble skills in response to the
cues of a conductor

Demonstrate the characteristic tone

quality of the particular instrument
while playing with accurate notes,
rhythms, dynamics, articulations,
and intonation and maintaining a
steady tempo.
