Leading up to the Thanksgiving Break, we will focus on various historical speeches.

Students will analyze, make inferences and draw conclusions about the author's
purpose in cultural, historical, and contemporary contexts and provide evidence
from the text to support their understanding.
Upon our return, we will begin prepping our students for the second and final district
benchmark.
The end of the first semester is near.
