Earnings and Bank Reconciliations
Familiar with both PC and Macintosh operating systems
Skilled with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Power Point and Excel
Familiar with datasets, tables, PivotTables, PivotCharts, Web Queries, IF statements,
Match function, Index function and V-Lookups in Microsoft Excel
Efficient with Sage 50 and Sage 300 ERP software, including general ledger set up,
general journal entries, entering sales invoices and receipts, performing payroll
procedures and reconciling balances
Strong business communication skills as well as interpersonal communication skills
Able to analyze accounting or investment related problems and find the appropriate
solutions
Familiar with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and how to apply them
when preparing financial statements.
Proven ability to handle tasks responsibly and meet deadlines
Highly motivated and possess the ability to work well individually, on a team, or with
little or no supervision
Strong ability to learn new systems quickly and take initiative
Familiar with the completing full income tax returns for both individuals and
corporations using CanTax software.
