Course Reserve/e-Reserve Tutorial

(This step-by-step image tutorial teaches how to use Course Reserve/e-Reserve in Canvas.)
*Note: In this tutorial, Course Reserves and e-Reserve use alternatively.

Step 1. Login
After click on Course Reserves, you will need directed to the course reserves page, as shown below.
Use your eID and password to enter the course reserves/e-Reserve site.

Step 2. Course Home


On the main menu of your course reserves, the table of My courses lists all the courses that you have
in e-Reserve, which also includes the name of the course and the number of items that reserved in this
course.

Click Course Home of TILTSC02 to access the reserved materials.

Step 3. Reserve items


In the Reserve Items table, you have the options of Show details, View item, and Edit. Click
Show details to know the title of this item, the authors of this material, and others.

Step 4. View items


After viewing the details of each item, click View this item on each item page to view, download, or
print the material.

The document/material will open in a new tab. You can save them as PDF files. Personal tags for each
item are also allowed, as shown in the image below:

Please mail the course facilitators, if you cannot access the reserved items in this
course.
