Another City: Thoughts
One thing that surprised me about reading the novel was the different ways
Los Angeles has impacted peoples lives, from riots to bad experiences in their society.
Everyone has a story to tell and from the looks of it this city is really hectic, many things
occur. Now that I am done, something that I did not expect was how relatable this book
can be. I myself grew up in this huge city and some of the stories we read in class were
things I myself seen and been through. I also did not imagine to sincerely like a book, I
regularly read because I am forced but with this book it was different.
