LITERATURE REVIEW

In area of engineering, most industrial applications are using turbulent flow as a

medium to transfer the components. As an example dust collector, gas cyclone,
combustor and furnace needs turbulent flow to enhance the efficiency in separation
of multiphase components or reduce the harmful exhaust gas. (Imed Miraoui, 2015)
In this research, the author is emphasize on the application of cyclone separators
which is a stationary mechanical device operates to segregate solid or liquid
particles in a carrier gas. This device utilize the centrifugal force that
