The daily report summarizes progress made by Group 1 on 1-11-2016. In computer science, the graphical user interface was completed and connected to the Raspberry Pi controller and pins. In electrical engineering, communication testing between the Raspberry Pi and FPGA passed for most pins but failed on 4 pins, which will be addressed tomorrow. Testing of analog to digital converter code on the FPGA failed for unknown reasons to be investigated in the next session.

Group 1 1-11-2016 In todays project session the following progress was made: Computer science: -
The graphical user interface was completed.
Controller of G.U.I was established with the Pi. Connection between the G.U.I and the pins on the Pi.
Electrical Engineering: -
Further progress on communication: A test was implemented to validate
communication between the Pi and the FPGA. The test has passed over certain pins however for some pins( 4 to be exact) there was no communication. This problem should be tackled during tomorrows session. The code describing an analog to digital converter and vice versa was tested on the fpga. Unfortunately, for some reason to be identified in tomorrows session the process failed.
