    My Hypothesis
    o PSTPIP1 expression in Dictyostelium discoidium has a direct relationship with the
    polymerization of g-actin into f-actin. With overexpression of PSTPIP1 there will be a higher
    presence of f-actin present in the unicellular and slug.
    Conducting research under Dr. Coopers cell migration research
    o Conducting research on cytoskeletal structures of Dictyostelium discoidium
    In relationship to chemotaxis, phototaxis and looking at the elasticity of cell structure of
    a single cell to a slug (community of cells)
    o Skills gained
    Fine motor skills in working with small amounts of cells and liquid, being exact and
    precise, maintain bacteria free environment, learning sterilization techniques
