Grammar Exercise 3: Fragments

Concept: Fragments are incomplete sentences. They have often been

cut off from the main clause. A complete sentence must have a
subject, a verb, and express a complete thought.
Directions: Read the fragment corrections in numbers 1, 2, and 3. Complete 4-8 on your
own.
