Programming EPIRB
1) To open programs Be Pro V5.1.
2) To choose the report in a window " Test protocol ".
3) To choose a code of the country in a window " Country code ".
4) To establish type EPIRB in a window " EPIRB activation type ".
5) To establish factory number EPIRB in a window " Manufacturer serial No ".
6) To establish the report of the user.
7) If the report with code MMSI it enters the name in a window " MMSI 6 digits ".
8) To write down serial number EPIRB on a vessel in a window
" Beacon Number on vessel ".
9) If the report not MMSI to fill in windows of the program corresponding values.
10) To press the button " Generate message ".
11) In the right half of window there is an information that will be written down
in EPIRB.
12) To choose com port to which it is connected programmator.
13) To establish EPIRB and programmator. To direct LED programmator on window PRO
EPIRB.
14) To include EPIRB in a mode "Test".
15) In 3-5 seconds after inclusion EPIRB in "Test" to press the button
" Send message " (or Enter).
16) On screen PC the red button of " 100 % " should light up and on EPIRB to flash
1 time two bright LED.
17) If the result on EPIRB is not present (there is no bright flash) process to
repeat.
18) For listing the report to press button " File " and "Printer".
II. Explanatories:
1) Pay attention, that occurrence of a red strip of 100 % on screen PC
by pressing the button " Sebd message " does not mean, that EPIRB it is
programmed.
This strip speaks, that information PC is sent.
EPIRB it will be programmed when on it will flash 2 LED once brightly
simultaneously with a red strip of 100 % on screen PC.
2) After successful process - there is a strip on PC and there is one flash
of two LED on EPIRB. Correctness of the information in EPIRB is checked.
For this purpose EPIRB again it is included in "Test" and in 7-8 seconds
two bright LED should flash 3 times. It speaks, that code BCH - OK.
Code BCH is a way of check of the information which have been written down in
EPIRB,
which makes processor EPIRB.
3) Final check written down in EPIRB information is made on EPIRB Testers.
EPIRB Tester accepts a signal with EPIRB, deciphers it and deduces on the screen
or screen PC as she has been shown in item I.11.
So check EPIRB the service centers and " Port state control ".
