participating in the Health Matters program with the goal of reducing childhood obesity.

Research Associate, GHHI Summer Research Institute Johns Hopkins University, June
2015-August 2015, 6-8 hours per week
Completed original research regarding common home health hazards in Harford County,
Maryland and Maryland healthy housing resources. Contributed to national website of the
Green & Healthy Homes Initiative. Took part in a new publication from Green & Healthy
Homes Initiative.

Student Intern, Food and Drug Administration, June 2011-August 2011, 15-20 hours per
week
Organized and prepared lab materials for experiments, counted cells in preparation for
assays, and sterilized lab equipment. Worked with mentor to complete assays. Attended
project meetings.
