In its interstitial journey through the spaces and the times Others to the Contemporary,

explores those abandoned places and forgotten institutions of Care, Hospitality

and Exchange that allowed Venice to inhabit for centuries the uncertain boundaries
between Land and Sea, between the Us and the Others, between fragility and strength:
between Europe and the Mediterranean.

BEFORE

Facing the crisis of the Contemporary, of its models of coexistence between different
cultures, between mankind and nature, between local and global, is now very
usefull to trace possible routes across Venice and its lagoon, through their complex
geographical-cultural device, developed in centuries to relate with otherness and
its acceptance, to menage the uncertainties and the fragilities of the persons,
of the communities, of their environment.

stalks every crack, every clue, every small trace that can offer a possibility to transpass
those walls of hypocrisy and rational pretension of omnipotence in search of the
routes towards an Archipelago Europe, there where federate diversities and fragilities
to give them back place and perspective to their encounter.

Exploring those possible routes, experimenting artistic actions, educational practices
and transformative strategies, shaping, sharing and exchanging the tools and the
competences to coltivate the fertile dimensions of fragility, incertanity and otherness
is nowadays the stimulus to survive and to evolve that animates

to cancel any space of confusion, hesitation, insecurity, opposing -, against the same
founding myth of Europe - Land to Sea, the Us to the Others, their violence against
fragility, the rhetoric certainties of the present to the uncertainties of the future,
