    Ensure:

    Unit is clean, free of oil, grease, concrete

    Sufficient oil/petrol

    No leaks

    Guards in place and undamaged

    Controls labeled and working

    No missing screw/bolts

    No cracked, broken or missing parts

    No misalignment or binding of moving parts

    Lock lever in place on cylindrical connector

    Hoses/couplings/vibrator head secured adequately

    Hoses undamaged, free of wear/tear

    Vibrator head/hose assembly suitable for make/model of unit

    Operator not fatigued or under influence of drugs/alcohol

    Hair tied back, no loose clothing or jewellery

    Operator able to handle vibratory force of unit
