Procedure:
1. Introduce lesson, explain objective.

3. Before beginning to read I will instruct
students to look for character traits
within the book I will be reading.

of character traits that they have
noticed throughout the book and write
them in their writing journals.
13.I will give students each a cut out
character that they will write their
traits in and once theyve finished they
will glue it or tape it to their
reading/writing journals
14.Once theyve glued it inside their
journals they will use text evidence to
support their thinking on why they
choose the character traits they did.
15.Because it is glued they will be able to
access this as a resource for future
reference.
