The Philippine Nursing Research Society, Inc. (PNSRSI) will be holding the 9th National
Nursing Research Conference this November 23-25, 2016 with its theme, Innovative Research
Strategies in the Context of a Globalized Health Care System. It is an event aimed for student nurses to
learn about the pertinent nursing research issues of today and how they can apply and utilize their roles as
nurse practitioners through a variety of talks, forums, workshops and interactive activities.
Participants of the said prestigious conference will have the opportunity to share their ideas and
build networks with other nursing students of the different nursing schools from the country. It also serves
as an avenue for the participating nursing schools to deepen their knowledge about the profession and to
learn new updates from prominent people of the nursing profession. This will strengthen a college-wide
cooperation among the student leaders of the college to implement projects among participating nursing
schools, as well as explore possibilities for project collaboration, laying the groundwork for long-term
partnerships. The 9th National Nursing Research Conference will be held at Punta Villa Resort,
Arevalo, Ilo-ilo, Philippines from November 23-25, 2016.
I, the undersigned, the Mayor of the CN-College Student Council and a BSN-IV student of the
Western Mindanao State University, will be a research presentor of the said event. Attached with this
letter are acceptance letter, letter of invitation, parents consent and other pertinent documents. In line
with this, I would like to respectfully seek for financial assistance from the CN-CSC. Rest assured that I,
as a delegate of the said national conference would best represent the city.
