    Time Machine Integration

    Integration With SAP


    For Integration with SAP, following points need to be considered.

    Time Machine is compatible with the SAP system or not. Means if it


    support integration with SAP or not.
    Based on the compatibility, further manipulations can be done.

    Task
    Task is to integrate the Time Machine with SAP for overtime assessments.
    Solution
    As discussed with the client, they will be placing the file on the FTP Server
    containing the following information.
    1)
    2)
    3)
    4)

    Personal Number.
    Time IN
    Time OUT
    Additional checks are required with Time IN and OUT to identify about
    the IN and OUT thing.

    SAP system will get that data from the corresponding server and update the
    required infotypes in the HCM on regular intervals through ABAP.
    Since, overtime calculations are the objective, and currently it is done after
    every 15 days. So, the information which is contained in the infotypes will
    help to calculate the accurate overtime.

    Following diagram shows the graphical overview of integration.

    Regarding Validations, these will be done by the client.
