Since the reform and opening up, China has been the largest
country involved in dyestuff manufacture, trade and consumption,
undergoing the rapid development of more than 30 years. China
dyestuff yield volume accounts for more than 60% of the world total
production, involving more than 800 species, covering all of the
major type of dye and meeting the domestic more than 90% of the
market demand.

Dyestuff export country and region situation:
Direct export countries have 110, an increase of 3 countries compared with last
year.
Export to Vietnam, Thailand, Bengal, Taiwan has increased more than 10%
Korea is the biggest export country with 19 thousand tons, but only has
increased 0.4% of liquid dyes. The biggest falls in export is Brazil (10.9%) and
India(9.7)(comparatively rapid economic growth)

market. Dye yield accounts for over 60% of the world, market share of more than
40% of the world. We also paid two heavy cost, once is vicious competition,

Korean REACH) has been passed in April 2013 and will be
implemented on January 1, 2015.
ETAD recommended limit of 10 kinds of organic colorants organic

carcinogenic aromatic amines and heavy metals.

2008Intertek

China Dyestuff Industry Association, cooperated with Intertek in
2008, organized dye corporate environmental chemical safety
certification. Now, many products from Longsheng, Runtu, JECO,
Kedah, Qingdao Double Peach, etc have passed environmental testing
and certification. Not only products need to comply with relevant laws
and regulatory requirements, and also enterprises need to establish
and implement an effective quality management system to ensure
product quality stability and credibility.

ZDHC,2012

2020
Zhejiang Longsheng Group and Transfar Group recommended to attend
first action for brand companies in 2012, has worked out its own route to
eliminate harmful chemicals and has made great efforts on achievement of
zero discharge of hazardous chemicals in 2020.

In June 2014, ZDHC organization published Manufacturing Restricted
Substances List (MRSL)
In September 2014, China Dyestuff Industry Association and ZDHC jointly
organized the China dyes and chemicals companies and brand companies
contracted by ZDHC to attend exchange" in Hangzhou. Total 52
representatives from 11 brands and 22 dyes and additives companies have
participated in this exchange.

The domestic part companies producing the dyes and additives
have made a positive response on a list of producing restriction
substances published by ZDHC organization. So far, Zhejiang
Longsheng, Zhejiang Runtu, Jiangsu Yabang, Xuzhou Kedah,
Guangzhou Dymatic, Zhejiang transfer, Suzhou Liansheng more
than 20 companies, have screened their products, and proposed list
of alternative substances.

Accompanying important focus on ecological safety of global
textiles, it is believed there will be more companies to participate in
zero-emission actions which help set up image, create a brand,
expand markets, and protect the environment. China Dyestuff

of harmful chemicals.
