Case Workers Lament

Oh what a day its been, it seems there is no end

To all these notes and calls I have to make.
Wish I could find more time; I think Ill lose my mind;
But for now, Ill try to find a way
To bring the hope they need, to help them to succeed
When life is tough and things dont go their way;
To just believe again, in spite of where theyve been.
In brighter days there must be brighter days
Da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da da

Glimpses of Homelessness

The stories you will hear tonight are true words, reflections and
feelings of real people in our community who are homeless, their
families, and professionals and volunteers who work with them.
It is our hope that when you leave here, you will have a better
grasp of the complexity of the situation and a strong desire to
do what you can to create a safe, secure environment for all our
citizens. Thank you.
