How to Teach Your Child To Run by IAHP

Step 1: Walk 30 minutes nonstop.


Step 2: Be able to walk one mile in 30 minutes.
Step 3: Begin to trot 6 yards. Build up to 30 sessions during his one-mile
walk ( 30 x 6 yards of running)
Step 4: Gradually increase to 25 yards of running nonstop. Gradually decrease
his sessions to 10 during his one-mile walk (10x25 yards of running)
Step 5: Gradually increase to 50 yards of running, decreasing his sessions to
6 times during his one-mile walk (6 x 50 yards of running)
Step 6: Gradually increase to 150 yards of running, 4 times, in his one-mile
walk (4x150 yards of running)
Step 7: Gradually increase to four sessions of 200 yards of running during his
one-mile walk (4x 200 yards of running)
Step 8: Blend his running sessions until he runs 400 yards nonstop twice
during his one-mile session walk ( 2x400 yards of running)
Step 9: Combine his two sessions until he runs mile nonstop within the
one-mile (1x800 yards of running)
Step 10: Run mile and gradually increase until he ranches 1 mile of running
nonstop
Your child runs one mile nonstop! Congratulation
