Pyramus and Thisbe

Pyramus was a young man from

Babylon , who had fallen in love with
Thisbe but he couldnt marry her as
her parents opposed to it .
Deciding together , one day, to
meet in a secret place, Thisbe was
the first to arrie there. But a lion
turned up and frightened , tun away
leaving behind a veil.
When Pyramus discovered the veil
covered in blood, he thought that
Thisbe isnt alive anymore and he
commited suicide. Thisbe returning
to the meeting place, found dead
Pyramus and she commited suicide.
The legend is one of the most
endearing of Antiquity.
