challenge! Show gratitude everyday

Students can continue their


learning over the Thanksgiving
break by practicing their
multiplication facts, working on
iReady, or utilizing abcya.com for
educational games

[ Look over old quizzes and tests and


try to figure out why youre making
mistakes

[ Encourage your child to use their


reading strategy on their homework

[ Make games out of your


multiplication facts to help you study
and memorize them
[ Check your childs homework and
then have them explain it to you, make
sure your child isnt just guessing or
memorizing information, ask them to
explain what they did and why.

ELA- Read 30 minutes nightly and fill in your


reading log & packet due Friday
Math- There will be a packet that will be due on
Friday. Quiz Friday on fractions on a number
line.
Science- review and plan solar system project

Math 3.NF.2a
We will work in depth with our fractions and order
them on a number line. Students will actively
manipulate fraction and work cooperatively in
grappling with these concepts.

Science 3.E.2.1/2.2
Comparing Earths saltwater and freshwater
features. Comparing Earths land features by using
models, pictures, diagrams, and maps.

ELA RI.3.3
Describe the relationship between a series of
historical events, scientific ideas or concepts,
or steps in technical procedures in a text, using
language that pertains to time, sequence and
cause and effect.
