EXT. QUIET SUBURBAN STREETS - MORNING

British Narrator: Why hello there and welcome, take a seat
and settle down because your in for a treat if your the kind
of chap or maddam that enjoys a good side splitter of a tale
EXT. FRONT OF A SUBURBAN HOUSE 172 DRIVE WAY - SIDE OF ROAD
- FEW CARS TRUNDLE PASS
WE FADE down from gravel grey skies towards a white van with
the words REFRESH WATER titled on the side in large blue
lettering that has pulled up to the house
INT. INSIDE OF VAN - CLOSE UP of FRANK - heavy set guy stubbly face, abit mid 40s, hairline receding, wears a cap,
blue shirt and cream cargo shorts; REFRESH in white lable first time delivering to the area
British Narrarator : This unseemly fellow is Frank and Frank
works a dangerous job delivering water to various houses all
across the city.
EXT. OUT SIDE OF VAN
WE PAN OUT as we watch frank get out and slide open the side
door and pick up two medium sized water bottles in each
hand. WE FOLLOW him as he waddles towards the driveway of
172
British Narrator : Franks job is dangerous not because of
the intensive lifting the job requires but because of the
dangerous animals he encounters
EXT. DRIVE WAY OF 172 - HOUSE IS MIDDLE CLASS DECENT SIZE
We GO PASS Frank towards a large colourbond gate - pale with
green trimming- coverd. There is a deep barking sound,
agressive, something is banging against the gate, shaking it
violently.
EXT. FRONT OF GATE
WE FACE Frank waddling towards the shaking gate, his eyes
locked his face is one of building fear and terror, small
pools of sweat form on his forhead. There is a piece of
paper crudley sticky taped to the shaking fence ; WOOF WOOF
WOOOF! BANG!
reading: Please leave BPA free water bottles inside the gate

2.

Frank hesitates, WE WATCH as he grabs the note and shakes

his head while studying it while listening to the banging
fence and the terrifying unseen monster behind it
FRANK
" Lady, they dont pay me enough
for that "
Frank then leaves the bottles outside of the shaking banging
fence and quickly walks to his car and drives off
British Narrator : Do you see what I mean now? Frank works a
very dangerous job. The poor fellow. Lets all hope his next
house isnt quite so terrifying
EXT. 172 BACK YARD
WE FLY over the fence and reveal the terrifying unseen
monster. WE find ourselves looking at the rest of the back
yard, we can see a large dog kennel that has MENANCE plaqued
on the top is large lettering, grass and a washing line, red
bricks, various plants
WE THEN SWEEP DOWN and see........
A minature, petite, undersized caramel- white long haired
chiwawa crossed with a terrier: A chiwawterrier. Long bat
like ears attached to a tiny face with chocalate button
nose, large eyes that seemingly bulged out his head on
certain angles. A curled cocktail, shaggy clown plants, chop
stick legs poking out - staring at the fence, on guard,
waiting for more prey
British Narrator : Yes you are seeing things correct, this
is the terrifying unseen monster. Meet Menance. A Kanine
Caricture. Ever since he was a pup his Human Mum - Kristy has told him that hes a large hunting dog, a tough
agressive wolf, a fierce protector. The problem is no one
had told him otherwise and he believed this without a shadow
of a doubt
EXT. 172 Back Yard - GREEN GRASS
WE NOW TRANSITION INTO THE MIND OF THE MENANCE, THINGS SHIFT
TO HIS POINT OF VIEW
MENANCE
"Michael J FOXs voice "
I sure showed him! That will teach him for coming near my
fence as if the peeing wasnt enough to tell. This is MY
Fence you lucky me telling you to leave is all I did!
