Agreed amount or 30% of total price shall be paid as a non-refundable deposit
which is due upon signing of contract. Musicians are not committed to perform
until both the deposit and balance are each paid. Balance is due before event.
If paid by check, the balance must be paid thirty (30) days before the event.
Otherwise, cashiers check or cash must be used to pay Ambrosia String
Quartet. Checks should be paid to the order of each performing musician.
*Consultation may be over the phone or in person regarding details such as
instrumentation or music selections. **Any amendments to this contract must
be in writing and signed by all parties.

The musicians are to be provided with one armless chair each. If you have
requested a pianist for your event, you will need to provide a tuned piano or
keyboard with a full set of weighted keys and at least one pedal. The musicians
are to be provided with a performing location which protects their instruments
from being bumped. If you have requested that the musicians perform
outdoors, you will need to provide them with a cover to protect their
instruments and music from wind, rain, and direct sun.
If you decide that you need to have the musicians perform longer on the day of
the event, the musicians will perform if they have the available time. Additional
cost may be involved and those fees will be presented to you when you sign
your contract. The musicians should be paid in cash prior to their additional
performance time if you have them stay longer than you had originally
contracted.
If you need to change the date of the event, and you have already signed a
contract with us and have paid your deposit, we will amend the contract to
reflect the change of dates if we are available on the new date. If we are not
available, we will retain the deposit and give you recommendations for
replacement musicians.
If Ambrosia String Quartet must pursue legal remedies to collect the account, all
fees, costs, expenses and reasonable attorneys fees shall be paid by whoever
signs below. The bride and groom are jointly and severally liable on this
contract.
