Northgate Photography Club

I
The purpose of the Photography Club at Northgate High School is to bring the joy of
photography to anyone willing to participate. We will be creative and collaborative, but most of
all, we will have fun!

II
Anyone with a camera (DSLR, cellphone, point-and-shoot, etc.) can participate in the
Photography Club.

III
The club will appoint one President, one Vice President, and one Secretary/Treasurer.

IV
President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer will be elected by majority rule for two year
terms. Leaders will not be allowed to vote, but in the event of a tie, the previous President, Vice
President, and Secretary/Treasurer will meet to decide the future leaders of the club. Leaders can
only be elected for one term, but they can run as many times as they want. In the event that a
club leader resigns, a vote among the club members will be held to decide who will take over.

V
The President will be responsible for the clubs email, co-managing the club meetings, and
presenting projects, tutorials, etc.
The Vice President will be responsible for the clubs various social media pages (Twitter and
Instagram) and will manage the club meetings along with the President.
The Secretary/Treasurer will be held responsible for recording the clubs minutes following the
ASB guidelines and keeping the President and Vice President up to date on the state of the clubs
minutes. The Secretary/Treasurer will also be responsible for keeping any club funds safe and
accounted for. He/she will also have to give money to the ASB and coordinate with the ASB if
the club needs to organize a fundraiser.

VI

This Constitution can be amended at any point during the school year with a 2/3 vote among the
members of the club. Likewise, leaders will be allowed to vote in the amendment process, with
their votes carrying as much weight as a members vote. In order to raise awareness of an
amendment, a member of the club must bring the amendment to the attention of the President. In
the case of a successful amendment, the Vice President will post a copy of the new Constitution
to Twitter.

VII
Members of the club are expected to have respect for the environment and any equipment that
doesnt belong to them. Furthermore, anyone found as disruptive to the enjoyment of other club
members can be voted out of the club by a 2/3 vote among the clubs leaders. Members will not
be allowed to vote on these issues.

VIII
Meetings will be held every Friday at lunch in Ms. Moores room (Room 61B).
