SICKNESS & DIARRHOEA
We are experiencing both children and staff with illness presently, as we do every year around this time. If your child
is sick or suffers from diarrhoea, please help us contain this by allowing your child 48 hours absence. This will help to
prevent further sickness and absence in the future. Thank you.
YEAR 5 & 6 ATHLETICS TOURNAMENT TUESDAY 29
TH
NOVEMBER 9.30AM
Next Tuesday a team from our Year 5 & 6 children has been selected to represent the school at the Multi-School
Athletics Tournament at Lostock Hall Academy. Your support in helping us transport our children would be much
appreciated and we intend to leave the school dressed for action at 9am. We are expecting it to be finished at around
12pm. This is a notable sporting event on the schools sporting calendar and I would like to wish them all luck next
week!
DRAMA CLUB SHAKESPEARE FOR SCHOOLS
This is a note to say thank you to the children and staff of the Drama Club who worked hard to present a production of
Romeo & Juliet last Thursday night. It was a stunning production which towered over other productions presented
on the same night. It was clear that the children enjoyed the experience, despite their long day but did a great deal to
put the school on the map once again in the department of dramatic arts. All involved should be very proud of what
they achieved last week. I really hope that all our parents enjoyed watching the production and felt as proud as the
staff involved.
