I am Muhd Afiq Ab Wahab, as programme director of RECYCLING: ACTIONS TOWARDS
SUSTAINABLE EARTH Campaign, would like to express my gratitude to all who are present today on behalf of my committee and my classmate. I would like to express my utmost gratitude to Prof. Dr. Sharifah Aishah Syed A. Kadir, the advisor of this campaign for giving us such an opportunity to organize this campaign. I am also grateful for her advice and contribution in this campaign such as providing a Recycle House for each block of Engineering Faculty in UiTM Shah Alam and also provided recycle baskets as you can see at this level. This Campaign is a small step in order to give knowledge about recycling to all, starting with our fellow students and staffs in this campus. Our objective is to create awareness among students on the importance of Solid Waste Management according to the Solid Waste Management hierarchy. So, it is important for me as a Programme Director to ensure that the objectives of RECYCLING: ACTIONS TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE EARTH Campaign has been achieved by the end of the programme. As a saying goes, The greatest mistakes are doing nothing when you can do little. Finally, I will conclude this speech by recognizing and acknowledging the unprecedented contributions and commitments of the committees, lecturers, and students of Chemical Engineering Faculty towards the successful of organizing this programme. Thank you.
