ADMISSION NOTICE FOR FILLING OF VACANT SEATS OF M.Ed. 2-YR.

(SEMESTER SYSTEM) COURSE FOR THE SESSION 2015-16
Online Fresh Application Forms are invited for admission to vacant seats of M.Ed 2-Yr.
(Semester System) course for Colleges of Education Aided/affiliated to Kurukshetra University
running M.Ed. under SFS for the session 2015-16. The Application Form can be filled up online
through University website www.kuk.ac.in alongwith online application fee of Rs.800/- (Rs.200/for SC/BC/EBP candidates of Haryana). Last date for submission of online Fresh Application
Form in the office of the Chairperson, Dept. of Education, KUK is 26.11.2015. The print out of
online Application Form alongwith fee receipt and Form for College Preference and copy of caste
certificate of SC/BC/EBP category and ESM/DFF/DA candidates are required to attach certificate
for claiming reservation should reach in the Dept. either in person or By Post by 30.11.2015.
Firstly admission will be made on the basis of merit from the waiting list drawn on 06.11.2015
from 09.00 to 11.00 a.m. on 01.12.2015, if seats remaining vacant and no candidate is available,
seats will be filled up on the basis of open merit (except SC category seats) from the fresh
candidates from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on 01.12.2015. Preference will be given to the
candidates who have appeared in the Entrance Test. For the candidates who have already
applied but not appeared in the Entrance Test OR do not mark their attendance on the day of final
counseling i.e. 06.11.2015, admission will be made on the basis of open merit of qualifying
examination except SC category seats from 11.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on 01.12.2015
Prospectus (Code No. M.Ed.-15) is available on the University Website. Admissions will be
made through physical counseling to be held on 01.12.2015 from 9.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m. in the
Department. Candidates must physically present on the day of counseling with all original
documents and one set of zerox copies of the required documents. Fees/dues will be deposited on
the spot on the day of counseling i.e. 01.12.2015.
Eligibility :B.Ed./B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. Examination with 45% marks. Minimum pass marks
for SC/ST Candidates and 42.75% marks in case of Differently Abled candidates.
