SCOPE OF WORK
The project is a single storey residential building. Visually, it is a typical modern house that is accentuated
with refined roof.
SITE WORK. The contractor will furnish all equipment and labor to complete the site work relating to this
project and as outlined below.
EXCAVATION. This will include the footing for the porch foundation.
BACKFILL. We will backfill new foundation walls with saved materials. Backfill will be rough graded, and
any finish grading and landscaping is included in this estimate.
CONCRETE. The contractor will furnish all materials and labor to complete the concrete work relating to
this project. This will include the construction of the porch foundation/slab.
The residential building shall have all resident accessible areas on the ground floor and include, but not
be limited to the following:
1. KITCHEN. Kitchen shall include storage cabinets, storage, stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, sinks
and dishwasher that are accessible by the residents so they may share in meal preparation and
clean up.
2. DINING AREA. Dining area shall be large enough to accommodate all residents and staff
simultaneously at meal time.
3. BEDROOMS. Each home shall be of sufficient size to accommodate a non-ambulatory resident
and shall include a clothing storage closet.
4. BATHROOMS. The house shall include one fully accessible bathrooms to serve the residents.
Bathroom shall include a sink, toilet and shower.
5. LIVING AREAS. The home shall include a living area which is large enough to accommodate all
residents.
6. FENCING. Perimeter fencing shall be provided to define the property.
7. LANDSCAPING. Trees, bushes and shrubs shall be provided to enhance the residential appearance
of the house. Selected planting shall be of types that require minimal maintenance.
8. UNDERGROUND UTILITIES. Construction documents shall identify the size and location of all
underground utility lines, both existing and new. The utility line sizes, locations and elevation
shown on the drawings.
9. SEWER SERVICE. An onsite septic system shall be installed.
10. ELECTRIC SERVICE. The home shall have its own electric meter.
11. PHONE SERVICE. The house will be provided with telephone service.
