Window bands and punch windows are typical solutions for multi-story residential, office, industry, and
commercial buildings. The names of these window forms go back to their special construction style: Punch
windows are windows that are punched like holes into a facade built in solid construction. Window bands
are a special form: Here, the windows do not feature as individual elements, but rather as a continuous
band. The resulting, large window areas let a lot of light enter the building, creating a pleasant ambiance
inside.
Mullion and transom faades make for especially slender and graceful solutions when it comes to glass
faades, thus decisively enhancing architectural design options.
The construction consists of a combination of vertical, load bearing mullions and horizontal transoms. Put
together, they result in skeleton-like components that can be prefabricated in various sizes. This makes
mullion and transom faades not only visually attractive, but also well-planable and easy to incorporate in
the production process. In addition, prefabrication at our plant ensures maximum precision, so that all
elements can be fitted together perfectly on site.
