In a chemistry lab, the student burned sticks coated in chemicals and recorded the colors of the flames. They then used knowledge from physics class about light wavelengths and frequencies to determine the wavelengths and frequencies corresponding to the flame colors. This demonstrated agility and adaptability by applying a skill from one class to help understand a new topic in another class. However, the student notes they need to be more organized with equations and conversions to avoid mistakes going forward.

In my Chemistry Honors class this year, we did a lab on electron
energy levels and light waves. I learned how to use the wavelength and frequency of light waves to determine color last year in physics. This demonstrates Agility and Adaptability because I used a skill I learned in one class to help me understand the material in another. In the lab, we burned wooden sticks coated in different chemicals, and recorded the color of the flame. Afterward, we estimated the wavelength and frequency based on the colors. In the future, I need to be more organized with my equations and conversions to avoid mistakes.
