To whom it may concern:
I am pleased to recommend Desare Asencio for any academic or employment endeavor. I have had the
pleasure of being Ms. Asencio AP World History teacher and have witnessed her academic and social
accomplishments.
In class, Ms. Asencio was always prepared and participated insightfully which substantially contributed to
the overall excellence of the class experience. She is curious and thoughtful, enjoys being challenged and
takes criticism well using such discussions to improve her work.
Ms. Asencio is very adept at prioritizing and juggling a full schedule. In addition to her academic
accomplishments, she interned at the California Science Centers Curator Kids Club, and now has a
temporary position at the California Science Center. She also participated in the NAI Theater Workshop,
and is a yearly volunteer at the Foshay Blood Drive.
Ms. Asencio is serious about her studies and career path, but also has a warm sense of humor and is easily
social. She is the type of student every teacher enjoys having in class because she works well in any group,
allowing others to find a place to join in the discussion, yet can also focus well independently and has that
natural initiative to move beyond classroom boundaries.
I know she will take every opportunity in life to personally participate and engage others in progressive,
meaningful activities. Therefore, she would be a wonderful asset to any institution or community.
