REFLECTION LESSON 1
In general terms, it was a very good class. The time distribution was fine
because all the planned activities were accomplished. Moreover, the students
were very motivated during the class and the teacher was very energetic and
funny, which made the environment in the classroom reliable.
Some of the things she needs improve are the projection and volume of her
voice. Also, she should have more confidence when she talk, because she has
a high level of proficiency, but she needs to trust in herself.
Finally, she must continue to motivate her students as she has done so far. She
must not lose that contagious laugh and above all she should continue to
monitor her students closely, asking questions and paying more attention to
those who are having problems with the subject.
REFLECTION LESSON 2
In the lesson two I felt a bit nervous at the beginning because I had doubts
about what the students' reception would be like for me as a teacher. Afterwards
I felt more confident because I realized that I handled the topic and what my
students asked me, I could respond them successfully.
The students were motivated during the class, but they participated more
actively in the production stage due to they had to taste different types of food
and I tried to create a safe environment for the students.
Finally, I must improve my intonation at the moment of giving instructions, also I
should prepare in advance the CCQ's that I am going to do and pay attention to
the activities that I am going to prepare because I think the students need a
more challenging activities.
