Cognitivism

-According to Cognitivism, learning occurs as individual receive, organize, store and then retrieve
information or knowledge.
-The cognitive approach focuses on the mental activities of the learner that lead up to a response
and acknowledges the processes of mental planning, goal-setting, and organizational strategies.
-The characteristic of cognitive learning is located in the study to obtain and use representative
forms to represent its object or be explained by him/herself through responses, idea, symbol or the
others that related with mental.
-Language is product of human creativity.
-The learning process in cognitivism is an active interaction with the environment to change the
learner knowledge, such as attitude, habit or skill that relatively permanent.
