Working Principle of Electric Generator:

Metals, as you know, are very good conductor of

electricity because they contain free electrons that
transfer energy from one end to other. When a coil is kept
in a changing/ fluctuating magnetic field, electric
voltage/potential difference occurs across the coil. This
difference in potential forces these free electrons in the
wire. In simple words, change in magnetic field causes
electric current in the coils kept in that magnetic field.
Changing magnetic field in a Dc generator is provided by
rotating a coil in a magnetic field. Rotation causes EMF to
induce in it a thus giving an output.
The generator will have rotation from a coupled Dc motor
which is a 12v motor.
For this generator the materials u need are:

1: 2 motors (one will be used as a primary mover and the other will be used as
generator.)
2: 4 volt 700 mAh or more battery
3:2 plastic pulleys/a coupling screw (to join shaft of both motors)
4: A mini rubber belt not a rubber band/ not required if we use a coupling screw
5: Wires
6: 1 push button

Procedure of making a generator:

Take both motors and attach the pulleys to the rotors of the motor. If you are
using a coupling screw than just couple both motors with each other making rotor
of both motors common.

Soldering Wires and attaching the switch

Soldering on battery:
Take a red wire and solder it on the positive pole of the battery and black wire on
the negative pole.

Soldering on motors:
Take the 1st motor and solder the red wire on the positive pole of the motor and
black on negative pole and repeat this step this on the 2nd motor

Attaching the switch:

Take the 1st motor and tie the positive wire of it with the battery's positive wire
and between the black wires of battery and motor tie the wire of battery on the of
point of the switch and motor's wire on the on point.

Coupling motors:
Couple both motors with each other by using a coupling
shaft.

Operation
Turn on the generator (by pushing the switch which will provide motor a current
and voltage and thus it will rotate and provide a rotating force to generator) and
attach the red wire on the positive pole of the bulb and black on the negative the
load you want to use generated 65V DC output of generator.

In a DC generator, you'll have to add a special

reversing switch to the magnet shaft. It's a switch
called a "Commutator." All DC generators have
these. This feature is built in the motors used so
the output is a 65V DC.
