It is with pleasure that I am writing to you regarding Alysa Hackett. I
was able to precept Ms. Hackett at Tucson Medical Center in the Adult
Critical Care Unit during her preceptorship in the Fall of 2016.
Ms. Hackett has proven herself to be a competent nursing student.
While working with me, she exhibited strong nursing skills in the way of
assessments, medication administration, interdisciplinary
communications, and family/patient communication. Ms. Hackett
showed that she is compassionate and caring while interacting with
patients and families on the unit. Ms. Hackett handled a wide variety
of tasks with enthusiasm and skill.
Ms. Hackett arrived on time each day eager to jump in and take on
what the day may bring. She worked well with all members of our staf
and was excited to help or learn a new procedure when the time arose.
Ms. Hackett has the qualities that many institutions look for when
hiring a new graduate nurse. She is eager to learn, gets along well
with others, and already has a strong base to grow her knowledge and
