CRONUT
Good morning everybody, its a pleasure to welcome you today. For those of you who dont
know me, my name is Giovany Dea Christella Hendrawan, Im a Soegijapranata Catholic
Universitys student majoring at Food Technology.
I bet that not everyone in this room know about CRONUT. So, what is CRONUT? CRONUT
is an acronym for croissant-doughnut which is invented by Chef Dominique Ansel. Im pretty
sure that you arent familiar with cronut; even with croissant. Thats why I picked cronut as my
topic in this presentation.
In my presentation today, Ill focus on three major issues. First of all, Ill be looking at the origin
of cronut, after that, Ill go on to cronuts controversy and charity campaign. Finally, Ill tell you
the recipe of the original cronut and explain it step by step. It will take about 5-7 minutes to
cover these issues. Ill be handing out copies of the slides and the recipe at the end of my talk.
And please do not interrupt me during my talk because there will be time for questions after my
presentation.
