The installation of the program will copy program files to the program directory

, which
should be x:\program files\microdem--terrabase II. You can safely change this l
ocation.
You can select a database directory for your map data. You should name this x:\
MapData, where x is the root directory on the disk you want to use.
You should not attempt to make the mapdata directory a subdirectory. While the
installation program might let you, the MICRODEM program will not use that direc
tory.
The directory x:\MapData\dems will have a sample Digital Elevation Model.
The directory x:\MapData\sats will have a sample satellite image.
These can be overlaid as they cover the same area and are registered.
The directory x:\MapData\DataBase will have a sample data base with volcano loca
tions.
The program will install MDAC 2.5, despite the fact that the program says it is
installing 2.1.
