Influencing Factors
Um Interface: Intra-network interference and inter-network interference, improper parameter (including
timers) settings, coverage problems, mobile phone failure
Abis Interface: Channel congestion, transmission problems, improper parameter (including timers) settings
A Interface: Transmission problems (congestion and communication quality)
Network capacity (no of TRXs) and traffic distribution
Faulty equipment installation (reversed feeders, faulty TRX etc) transmission, or on the hardware (improper
traffic distribution among cells
Network interference (Inter-network interference or strong intra-network interference caused by tight
frequency reuse due to limited frequency resources affects the normal access of the MS, causes TCH
assignment failure, and increases the TCH congestion rate.
KPI measurement problems
Incorrect parameter settings (RACH Min.Access Level is set to a too small value, Cell reselection parameters
are incorrectly set, Speech Version is incorrectly set)
Software version problems
Improper neighbour definition leading to drop as a result of handover
Too large inter-site distance
Large Timing Advance value

Transmission instability (fluctuations on TX links)
