    Activity 1
    Learning Task: at the end of this writing activity, you should be able to choose one
    (1) gadget or system that us related to your field or future job and describe this
    technically.
    Directions:
    1. Consider your major field of specialization.
    2. Choose your favourite gadget/system/machine.
    3. Write a brief technical description easier to understand.
    Example: Digital Camera for Film Majors
    GADGET/SYSTEMS/MACHINE: CALCULATOR
    Technical Description:
    Direction: A calculator is a device used to perform both basic arithmetic operations and
    complex mathematical operations. The simplest calculators can do only addition, subtraction,
    multiplication, and division. More sophisticated calculators can handle exponential operations,
    roots, logarithms, trigonometric functions, and hyperbolic functions. Internally, some calculators
    actually perform all of these functions by repeated processes of addition.
