The only technology that will be needed for this project will be 33 Acer Chromebooks.
The total cost for the 33 Chromebooks will be $9,867, so just a tad bit shy of $10,000. The goal
of this project is not only to teach students about content and current events, but to teach them
how to efficiently use technology. Technology is now used in almost every aspect of everyday
life and something that the students will use for the rest of their lives so it is very important that
they develop technology skills as early as they can. The students will need the utilize the
Chromebooks throughout the project by conducting research, administering their interviews,
collaborating with their group and making their presentation. The intention of having the
students work with technology throughout this project is to develop technology skills that they
can use in the future.
