Thank you for taking the time to consider me for the position of Production Manager.
As you know, I have been with your team for the last 9 years. Even though my
primary position is Cook Chill, I have had the opportunity to work all over the
kitchen both by request and out of necessity. I have hands on knowledge of the
day-to-day operation of the kitchen, as well as our regular caterings and events.
Recently I was the relief for our storeroom clerk while he went back home for a
month. During that time I learned how important his position is to the rest of
production process of the kitchen.
I have also created documents for the kitchen to both help guild the employees with
the day to day operation as well as trying to promote our products.
I have a working relationship with all our cooks and know what is needed from them
on a regular basis. I also know what the cooks need from their manager. This I
believe is what makes me the best person available to step in and take over the
Production Managers position.
