book is great for preschool children to be able to grasp the concept on how male
Seahorses are the ones that Give birth to their offspring.

book called Ten little fish is about ten fish who swim in an ocean reef and
they start to leave based on different events. One is left and then another one
comes along and then they have 10 little fishes of their own. This book is great
for children because it has great illustrations, text that rhymes and teaches
children how to count from one to ten and ten to one.

This book is fantastic and appropriate for children as it is commonly used in


head start classrooms according to some reviews by teachers. The book is
inspired by Raffis song Baby Beluga. The book has great illustrations and
teaches naming and counting animals as well as other teaching points.

In Five little sharks swimming in the sea we have the original Five little
monkeys jumping on the bed transformed into five little sharks. They bump into
other sea animals, eat too much fish or get lost after playing hide and seek but
not all is bad and they return to playing in the sea after all. This book is great as
it teaches children mathematics and shows subtraction specifically.

Secret seahorse is a great book about a seahorse that hides on every page of
the book. It travels through the book hiding to get to its family. The book is made
out of fabrics, felt and other great creations. The book is very beautiful and is
great for children because the felt and fabrics make it slightly an interactive book
that children would enjoy.

Fish is fish is a good book for children. Not only does it talk about
friendship it also explains how a tadpole goes through stages to become a frog.
This book is great for the science library for children as it does show the stages
of growth for a frog and it also shows how even though changes happen that
friendship can withstand those changes.

This book is about a little boy who is swimming in the deep looking for
treasures. In the book he finds different animals on his journey. The funny thing
is that he was always in his bathtub and the sea animals he finds are all actually
his his toys. This book is great in my opinion in the dramatic play area (Library)
as it shows the boy using his imagination to have fun in his tub.

This book is the adventure that Ms. Frizzle has with her class when the
Magic School Bus is driven into the ocean. Ms. Frizzle and her students have an
adventure of a lifetime! The class learns about coral reefs, ocean plants and
animal life in the deep blue! This book is fantastic because it teaches children
about some of the animals and plant life there are in the ocean!

book is a great resource for facts about sea animals for young children who want
