News
We are in that very busy time between
Thanksgiving and Christmas. There
are lots of exciting things happening,
and a lot to get done. The students
have been very busy!
Our elementary Christmas program is
Wednesday December 14. The service
will begin at 7:00, and everyone is
invited to come for soup supper at
6:00. See you there!
This year for Christmas, Mountain
View has teamed up with Lutheran
Social Services to sponsor an Angel
Tree. We will be sponsoring 50
underprivileged children in Las Vegas.
We hoping to have all the children
adopted next week. The instructions
on what to buy and all the information
about the child are on the hang tag on
the tree. All gifts need to be returned
by December 18. Thank you for your
willingness to help!
For the next two weeks we will be
taking a break from our usual
reading/language arts program and
doing a novel study on The Best
Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara
Robinson. This is a great story that
teaches lessons about compassion and

forgiveness. We will be reading it as a

class, and completing some
comprehension activities about the
book. I encourage you to ask your
child to tell you about the story as they
read it.
